Brook Street is currently working with Microsoft to recruit Sales Relationship Managers on an initial contract for services through until June 2006.
The successful applicants will join a dynamic internally focussed team as the pivotal point of engagement between enterprise size customers and Microsoft.
As a minimum the Sales Relationship Manager will be aware of all sales, marketing, partner and services engagements within their specific verticals. You will have responsibility for determining a strategy for customer engagements and will contribute to building and implementing end to end account plans with clear goals, objectives and strategies.
In addition to this you will act as a key point of inbound contact for customers.
A key requirement of the role is the ability to blend the skills of opportunity generation and opportunity management across the customer set. You will be a virtual team leader in many situations including customer issue resolution, specific opportunities and pipeline management.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following skills and experience:
- Proven experience within the IT industry (knowledge of Microsoft’s products and license programmes is desirable).
- Experience of delivering to sales objectives/targets working with a specific customer set.
- A proven and successful track record of corporate account management.
- Ability to deliver a business value message.
- Proven virtual teaming abilities.
Further to this you will have excellent listening and qualification skills and be an effective communicator both verbally and in writing.
Salary will depend on experience and will range from £25,000 - £35,000 with a discretionary performance related bonus.
